We go through Sprint, and they don't have a service to block private calls. She always answers though because she's afraid that if it goes to voicemail, that the caller will somehow figure out her passcode to her voicemails and......I don't know, but she's paranoid....lol. How do I encode mp3 files for ftp password download? My friend has a syndicated radio program and stations want to download his show via ftp. How do we go about allowing individual mp3-format shows to be download with ftp (restricted to password entry)? In other words, this is not for anonymous download, but stations must enter username/password in order to obtain the show for broadcast. Let me warn you, I am an old-school html scripter, and I use a Mac (Fetch is my ftp program). I am able to convert AIFF files to mp3, no problem, but when I upload them to the web, am I to contruct an href tag in such a way that a username/password field is generated? Also, does this eliminate the need for .zip files? Is there a special directory to which I upload this?

Why do I get this message on my screen when I close out any internet explorer window? "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Is Anonymizer a good program to conceal your identity when downloading torrent files? I downloaded the free trial for Anonymizer, and I just want to know before I buy it, since this is what I'm mainly interested using it for. Basically, despite subscribing to HBO, I'm a student with a busy schedule and I occaisonally DL episodes of shows I missed over utorrent (I also have bittorrent and azureus). HBO sent my school an "infringement notice" and apparently if they receive a second notice I can get in a considerable amount of trouble. So will Anonymizer effectively hide my IP address from the snooping eyes of HBO, my campus network, and anyone else who bothers to look? When I vistited the edonkey website there was a message saying that edonkey was no longer availible and that my IP address had been logged. Downloading data without knowing? I had a call today from my IT department asking me what I had been downloading from some fairly anonymous corporate web site. When I said 'er do what know, I havent downloaded any data from this site or ever visited it' they told me my IP had been recorded downloading 100mb of data from it. So I run spybot and found no issues, run my Norton IS and found nothing. I then tried a system restore and my XP would not restore to any date. So I started in safe mode and this then successfully restored as requested. Anyone have any ideas what the hell is going on with my system anonymously downloading data. I can see nothing on the task manager showing any unrecognised process' being used......and my IT department dont believe me !! TY....Ozz

Chances of getting caught file sharing? OK, spare me all the people that will give the standard speeches about how file sharing is wrong and that if you don't want to get caught, don't do it. I don't need little kiddie comments like that. What I want to know is, how likely is it anyone will come after you for doing it? If you download a couple things here and there, is there really much of a chance that anyone is going to say anything about it?
