Surf anonymously?

  1. Well it's not as if anyone can get your name once you visit a site, so of course it anonymous...
  2. is that a yes or no question or a how question? How anonymously? Websites are going to see the outside IP address, so I guess it also depends on where you are surfing. All the computers where I work have public IPs, so people with static IPs are SOL. Dynamic IPs are another story, but if there's MAC verification, they know who has what IP at any given time and there's probably logs of that. The safest bet is to use a library computer.
  3. Try TorPark. TorPark is the intersection of two relatively recent free software developments: portable Firefox and the onion router........Tor makes you virtually untraceable and protects you from local snooping as well. TorPark adds the ability to enjoy this same level of security from public computers, Internet cafés, hotel lounges, or anywhere else that network and machine security are out of your hands.
  4. once you get done on the web un plug your modem and plug it back in after like 15 -30 seconds it will reset your IP address
  5. To surf anonymously, assuming its for legal reasons.... you should use a proxy. This routes your searches through another computer. Any surfing you do will be shown as coming from that computers IP and not your own. This won't stop the government from finding you though, since they can trace the electronic footprint left by your comp. Hope this helps, google proxy to get a list of them.
