How do i disable auto proxy for my internet connection in firefox and for everything?

Few days back, I clicked on a tool to renew my IP and it automatically gave me a proxy settings for everythings. Now I can't disable it in firefox or for anythings else. Everytime i enable 'direct connection' in firefox and it sets back to manual proxy when it restarts. I tried to change the internet explorar settings but didn't help. I think the it's configured in system that keeps everything unchaged. So, I would really appriciate if anyone suggest me a way to disable the auto proxy. it's not a web based tool. it's from a software called ALL IN ONE RAPIDSHARE

1. You don't say which tool, if this was a web based tool you have probably infected your machine with spyware.
